Bringing back the Super Sonic

Lockheed Martin and Nasa have grouped together with leading engineers in the field of aeronautics to create a possible Supersonic Green Machine. The planes new engines would improve efficiency by switching to a normally used engine to reduce fuel consumption by 75% . The planes inverted V-tail and under-wing  placement would nearly eliminate sonic booms that lead to the ban of the Concorde.
